Kentucky: 5 preschoolers hospitalized after school bus crash
CARROLLTON, Ky. — Another child injured in a Carroll County school bus crash has been released from the hospital.
Kosair Children’s Hospital spokesman Steve Menaugh told The Courier-Journal (http://cjky.it/PJ74zt) the child was released Wednesday. Three children remained hospitalized, including a 3-year-old boy who was listed in good condition and a 4-year-old girl who was in stable condition.
Another small child was in serious condition at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
An adult bus attendant was in serious condition at University Hospital.
Three other children who were hospitalized after the Monday crash have already been released. Two children died at the scene.
An investigation continues into what caused the Head Start bus overturn and hit a tree.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Department said a second vehicle was not involved.
