Truck hits school bus, 12 injured – Schertz MAB Bus Responds

A school bus carrying 35 students was rear-ended this morning in front of Steele High School, injuring 11 children and the driver.

The Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District bus was on FM 1103 in front of the school about 7:50 a.m. when a Chevrolet Silverado pickup struck it, Cibolo police said in a statement.
The students were headed to Dobie Junior High School in Cibolo.
The injured were taken to Northeast Methodist Hospital with injuries believed to be minor.
No charges have been filed in the crash, which is under investigation, police said.
